I'm a 21 year old student and avid reader. I've always loved books, when I was a kid it was Enid Blyton and then when I was older I started reading romance, specially historical romance, thanks to Johanna Lindsey and her novels that kept me awake all night. To this day historical romance is my favorite genre, but I adore Paranormal Romance too. I like contemporary romance too, I love well done graphic novels and I read Erotica on occasion. I'm rather critique with books, I believe we're in times of abundance, and that's a great thing, but it doesn't always mean we have a lot of quality. So I spend a lot of time trying to find that new special gem. I think I can always give a book a try but I can't always like it. I like to share what I have to say about books with others. I read in English and Spanish (which is my native language) and I love to find new books to add to my long list of reads.

Shadowfever - Karen Marie Moning 5 stars? fuck.that.shit.
This books is motherfucking perfect. Nothing else to say.
Darkfever - Karen Marie Moning 3.5 stars really. It's a pitty, because the only problem this book has is the heroine. Only 3/4 into the book she was more serious about it all and I could relax and concentrate on the story and not be annoyed by her every 5 minutes.
Overall, a nice start. Intriguing, Jericho is promising, a good misterious character.
The Unwritten Rule - Elizabeth Scott Wow, her friend was a real bitch. I just don't understand how you can be friends with someone who treats you like crap, what's the point? The book was half good, it was nice but a bit cliche I guess.
Mockingjay - Collins Suzanne Wow, read this whole trilogy in four days, I think. It's very addictive, because it's different and the plot is so catching and wonderful, that you just can't put the books down.

I am happy with the ending, even though I think everything was a bit loose, detached in itself. I would have liked some more detail, but still the author manages to do a more than ok job with the conclusion.

Now there's only waiting for the movie, and hoping it's as good as the books.
Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins Four stars because even though this book is quite good(it's a very good sequel), it's not as good as the first one, sequels hardly ever are. There's also the issue with the love triangle thing, and the fact that I know Katniss and Gale are going to get into some sort or relationship without poor Peeta around, how convenient *heavy sarcasm intended*.

Yea, poor Peeta. Where the fuck is Peeta? Being tortured somewhere. I swear I will always remember Haymitch saying to Katniss that she's never going to be deserving of Peeta. And that is kind of the truth, because even though I do not hate Katniss, and I admire her, still Peeta is the most amazing character (to me) here, and he goes under too much pain for her, all he ever cares is her, so selfless. While reading the book I felt several times the need to read something, even a little something, from his POV. That would have been amazing.

So, I am a bit scared to read Mockingjay, for all of them, and especially for Peeta. I'm still hoping for a sort of happy ending for them, but I still don't know, Collins here seems to be a fan of gore, and I don't think she would be too scared to kill a principal character. We'll see what happens.
The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins Damn, people who told me to read this weren’t wrong. I never thought I could like a YA novel so much, apart from Harry Potter.
The characters are wonderful, exceptionally realistic. The story is amazing and so catching that you just can't stop reading! I finished this in 1 day and a half...
After finishing this book all I can say is that I'm very excited to read Catching Fire, and that I love Peeta. I feel bad for him, I hope for a good ending for them, but I this point I don't even know. I don't blame her, at all. I understand her, she's such an easy character to like. She's very strong, she's exactly what a role model should be, this is the kind of novel young girls should be reading, not books about Mary Sues crying for their boyfriends.
Excellent book.
Forever... - Judy Blume I don't understand the rating the people gave to this book, it's very simple written, and not in a good way. It was not interesting at all.
The Guardian - Sherrilyn Kenyon LOVED IT!!!! <3 My guardian <3 Oh how I adore him!! Yea, he's definately in Zarek and Ash's level for me now. <br/>It was a great book, maybe I feel like it was too short? I wanted to keep on reading!! I only wish I had seen more of the others, Sherri is introducing us to some new people and it's ok, but I kind of miss the old ones too.
Did I mention I love Seth?...
No Rest for the Wicked - Kresley Cole OMG this book was soo good!! For real I was soo surprised I wasn't expecting this. Now I just want to start reading Bowen's book right now! Because the end on this one was so sudden, I thought they were going to go for Bowen in this one! but it's for his book, so I'll had to read.
A Hunger Like No Other - Kresley Cole 3.5 stars

Definately better than 'The Warlord wants forever'. I liked this story, strong characters yet I feel like he was too controlling, even though I do understand him, and everything he's been trough. I liked the book much more towards the end, things got more exiting, and I love the Valkyrie family, they are extremely interesting and fun.

The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1)

The Warlord Wants Forever - Kresley Cole 2.5 Stars

I admit that at first I was ready to burn this, I did not like the characters, (HER, lol) and I did not feel like what I was reading was interesting, like something was missing... And the missing part I'm still feeling that, maybe because it's a novella and the shortness did not allowed me to ‘bond’ with the characters and their story. But at the end I felt that it was a good introduction, and that it was a well told short story, I feel better now that I understand the heroine motives, still I feel their "romance" wasn't anything romantic; now I'm not asking for hearts and flowers but one kind of expects to see some deeper connection between the protagonists and that never happened here, at least for me, it felt rather empty.

I just hope the next books are better.
Animal Magnetism - Jill Shalvis Couldn't finish it. Didn't like it at all.
Kept by Her Greek Boss (Harlequin Presents Extra) - Kathryn Ross *Unfinished.

0 STARS! Couldn't even finish...
Hearts Aflame - Johanna Lindsey A classic of Lindsey. Nothing to say, this beautiful saga is top 10 in the historical romance.
Chains of Ice - Christina Dodd (1.5 maybe 2) Could't even finish it. I don't know, it's a good story, has the basics to be quite good, but I just don't feel it with the characters, their emotions feel weak to me. I didn't like it.
Play of Passion - Nalini Singh 4 stars because I can't fully accept Indigo. But Drew is so sweet, ahhh he's relly adorable.
